CTRP3 administration suppresses hepatic gluconeogenic gene expression. Injection of mice with 2 μg/g body weight of recombinant CTRP3 suppressed the expression of gluconeogenic genes PEPCK and G6Pase in mouse liver, as assessed by quantitative real-time PCR analysis (A).
