In this process, midbody is the major reacting region, and some other proteins are involved, including γ-tubulin and microtubules. Aurora B phosphorylation at Ser-448 and Ser-585 is required for the localization of Nlp at midbody, and phosphorylation at Ser-185 stabilizes the Nlp protein in cytokinesis.
