Inhibition of CRM1-dependent nuclear export results in retention of RPAP4/GPN1 in nucleus followed by accumulation of POLR2A/RPB1 in cytoplasm of treated cells. Cells grown in the absence (0 h) or presence (2, 6, and 24 h) of 10 ng/ml LMB were analyzed by immunofluorescence using antibodies directed against RPAP4/GPN1 and the POLR2A/RPB1 subunit of RNAPII. In each case, the location of the DNA is shown (TO-PRO-3 iodide).
