(A) IL-3-dependent bax−/−bak−/− cells and K562 cells were cultured in the presence or absence of glucose for 2 or 3 d and cell size was measured in femtoliters (fL) each day (mean ± SD of triplicates). Primary bone marrow cells were cultured in the presence or absence of glucose for 4 d and size was measured in femtoliters (mean ± SD of triplicates).
