All values obtained at 3-month and 6-month control visits reached statistical significance when compared with baseline values. ^aValues obtained at 3 months were also significantly different when comparing Hyalubrix^® results with mepivacaine results in terms of the Lequesne index (P < 0.001); at 6 months the significant difference between the two subgroups was still present (P < 0.05).
