Ferrets were intranasally inoculated with 104 EID50 of live A/Brisbane/59/2007 (H1N1) in the presence or absence of CD8+ T cells, intramuscularly injected with 15 μg of either pMIV (Sanofi-Aventis, Bridgewater, NJ) or TIV (Fluzone; Sanofi-Aventis, Bridgewater, NJ), or mock vaccinated with PBS.
