Image (B) shows the GFP fluorescence signal following centrosome irradiation of a wound edge PtK2 cell. Images (C–F) are phase contrast images following the cell for 4.5 hours after the irradiation event: (C) immediately following irradiation, (D) 1.5 hours following irradiation, (E) 3 hours following irradiation, (F) 4.5 hours following irradiation. Over time, the centrosome irradiated cell (outlined in white) fails to migrate into the wound space.
