Summary of the effects of electrical stimulation on cell shortening and magnitude of [Ca2+]i transients in PKD mutant-expressing cells

Maximal amplitude of cell shortening and of [Ca2+]i transients were derived as described in the legend to Fig. 3 and “Experimental Procedures.” The results are reported as %RL for cell shortening and F/F0 for [Ca2+]i transients. The data are derived from experiments illustrated in Fig. 7 and presented as the means ± S.E. for control (n = 49), HA-caPKD (n = 49), Plum-caPKD (n = 54), and Plum-caPKD-S916A (n = 87), where n equals the number of cells analyzed.
