The CRF₂ antagonist, astressin₂-B, injected intraperitoneally blocked intraperitoneral Ucn 2-induced inhibition of gastric emptying of a solid meal in mice. Mice were food-deprived overnight and exposed to food for 1 h, then food and water were removed and vehicle or astressin₂-B were injected ip followed by ip vehicle or Ucn 2 and gastric emptying was monitored 2 h later.
