Measures were assessed by the Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale, a modified Lennon Stigma scale, the Purpose in Life subscale from the Positive Mental Well-Being Inventory, the Goal Disengagement and Reengagement Scales with pregnancy as the goal, the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule, the Center of Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale, and the state anxiety subscale of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory.
