CT increases the intracellular levels of cAMP in LLC-VA cells. The cells were incubated for 10 minutes with several concentrations of CT (1, 10, and 1000 nM). After incubation, the cells were solubilized, and supernatants were used to measure intracellular cAMP using an ELISA assay. CT stimulation was compared with the elevation of cAMP (35,196 ± 471 fmol/10⁶ cells) determined in the presence of a saturating concentration of VP (1 μM). Each point represents the mean ± SD of triplicate determinations. This figure is representative of three independent experiments.
