Aptamers affect steady-state levels of Gag mRNA in producer cells. (A) 293T cells were cotransfected with pNL4-3.Luc/VSV-G and pSilencer plasmids as indicated, and their total p24 (sum of intracellular and virus-associated p24) levels were measured by using ELISA. (B) Total RNA was extracted from producer cells 48 h posttransfection, and the fold changes in the levels of HIV-1 Gag mRNA were analyzed.
