Registration errors (mm) averaged over the eight test states for five different time profiles for respiration for two of the NCAT phantom configurations with two extents of motions. Compared are average errors and standard deviations (in brackets) without and with using our algorithm when estimating motion. The average and std are over the eight test states. The ^* indicate where a statistical difference was observed at p<0.05 by the paired t-test. The threshold factor used was 0.3.
