Mononuclear cells derived from the vagina-draining Inguinal lymph nodes of vaginally immunized mice (described in Figure 3A–C) were cultured in the presence of 15 µg/ml of gp140, and the concentrations of cytokines/chemokines in supernatants were quantified on day 1 and 3 of the culture by multiplex assay.
