The cytological positions of the transplanted elements are indicated in parentheses. A one-way ANOVA was performed to compare the effect of element location on element activity. There was a significant effect of element location on element activity: F_[13,28]=1213.6, P < 0.0001. Post-hoc comparisons of all pairs of means using Tukey's HSD test indicated which elements had significantly different activities (P < 0.05). Elements with significantly different means are indicated with different lower case letters.
