Dissipation of the mitochondrial membrane potential in A375 cells. A375 cells were seeded on coverslips and treated with DRE for 24 hours. The JC-1 was then added and cells were incubated for 1 hour, before being imaged on a fluorescent microscope, as described in Section 2. Punctate marks indicate healthy mitochondria.
