The anatomical location of the major reflection site classified by the relation between the effective reflecting distances (ERD) normalized by the distance from the aortic valve to the aortic bifurcation (aortic length) and the distance from the aortic valve to femoral site (Lav-fem). The ERD/aortic length ratio higher than 1.0 means that the major reflection point locates at the aortic bifurcation. The ERD/Lav-fem ratio higher than 1.0 means that the major reflection point locates around the femoral bifurcation.
