eRNA41H effects on cellular immune response after prime (day 0) and boost (day 28) subcutaneous immunization (no electroporation). The number of spot-forming cells (SFC)/106 splenocytes (average ± SD) determined on day 38 by IFN-γ (A), TNF-α (B), IL-2 (C), or IL-4 (D) ELISPOT, using various CD4 or CD8 epitopes, are shown for pITR p43-LAMP/gag wt (gL) and pITR p43-LAMP/gag wt-eRNA41H (gL RNA). Similar results were obtained with IL-10 ELISPOT (data not shown).
