Thyroid tissues were fixed in 10% formalin and embedded in paraffin. Five micrometer-thick sections were prepared and stained with H&E. At least five sections from each mouse were used for ImageJ analysis. Differences between Tg-BRAF^V600E/MST1-null mice and Tg BRAF^V600E littermates were assessed by Mann-Whitney U-test. All data are presented as mean±SD.
