(A) PCR genotyping reveals an efficient deletion (92%) of Myog genomic DNA in adult mdx:Myog-deleted mice (**p<0.001). (B) Reduced abundance of Myog transcripts in adult mdx:Myog-deleted mice. Myog transcript levels in mdx mice were increased by 5-fold over those in wild-type mice (*p<0.05). Myog transcript expression in mdx:Myog-deleted mice was equal to that of wild-type mice.
