Effects of uPA or uPAR deficiency on murine prostate cancer RM-1 cell growth in mice. RM-1 cells were inoculated subcutaneously into the mice deficient either of uPA (n = 10) or uPAR (n = 8) and wild-type (WT) counterparts (n = 8). The tumor volume was measured in WT, uPA-/-, and uPAR-/- mice on days 9, 12, and 15 after tumor cell inoculation. Values represent mean ± SD. *P < .001, compared with the tumor volume in WT mice. P < .05, compared with the tumor volume in uPAR-/- mice.
