Caveolin-1 expression after in vitro E₂ and DHT treatment. Differentiated L6 skeletal muscle cells were incubated in the absence (CON) or presence of 25 ng/mL of E₂ or DHT for various periods of time under serum-free conditions and then harvested. (A) Total protein was extracted, separated by SDS-PAGE and probed with antibodies against caveolin-1. Actin was used to confirm equal loading. (B) Quantitative analysis of Western blots.
