Summary data showing the effects of DNE on EPSC frequency and amplitude measured during interburst intervals. A and B show plots of the cumulative probability distribution for interevent interval and amplitude, respectively. The shift of the interevent interval plot represents a reduction in the average excitatory postsynaptic potential (EPSP) frequency (C), although DNE did not significantly alter average EPSC amplitude (B and D). Holding potential was −70 mV in all cells.
