DAPI was used to visualize DNA in the nucleus (upper panel). Cytoplasmic localization of RioK1 was confirmed by merge of DAPI and rhodamin channels. B, GFP-RioK1 was overexpressed in HeLa cells for 48 h and compared with GFP expression for control (lower panel). C, HeLa cells were fractionated into total cell lysate (TCL, lane 1), cytoplasmic extract (CPE, lane 2), and nuclear extract (NE, lane 3). The fractions were analyzed by Western blotting using the indicated antibodies.
