(B) Tail DNA Southern blot analysis confirmed the presence of the wild-type allele (WT) in wild-type (+/+) and heterozygous (+/−) mice and presence of the targeted allele (KO) in heterozygous (+/−) and null (−/−) mice. (C) Ephrin-A1 expression is abolished in ephrin-A1-null mice. Cell lysates prepared from P0 embryonic lungs were subjected to western blot analysis. The blot was stripped and re-probed with anti-actin for loading control.
