In figure 2 of the online version of this paper by Giorgia De Berardis and colleagues (BMJ 2009;339:b4531, doi:10.1136/bmj.b4531) two values were transposed. In the aspirin group of the JPAD study, the number of events for myocardial infarction should have been 12 [not 28] and the number of events for stroke should have been 28 [not 12].
