Expression of HOXB13 and androgen receptor (AR) was mutually regulated in prostate tumors. Serial sections of prostate tissues were immunostained for HOXB13, AR, PSA, and TFID. Malignant tumors used in this study belong to combined Gleason score 9. While HOXB13 and AR were colocalized in some tumor cells, there also were HOXB13 and AR-negative tumor cells.
