BMI, body mass index
Adjusted for the matching factors age, sex and race.
Further adjusted for BMI 5 years before diagnosis, daily energy intake, pack-years of smoking, ever use of aspirin consecutively for 3 months, years of schooling, lifetime hours of physical activity, daily intake of calcium and daily intake of non-starch polysaccharides from vegetables. Sample size was reduced by 43 (23 controls/20 cases) due to missing values.
MAF in all CRC subjects combined.
Number of cases/controls.
After multiple comparison adjustment, P-values < 0.0013 were considered statistically significant and P-values ≥ 0.00167 were non-significant. Note: none of these SNPs was significantly associated with adenoma (P-values > 0.05).
