nakr1-1 Plants Displayed Similar Na+ Content and Less K+ in Xylem Sap Than Did Col-0 Plants.
(A) Na+ content (ppb) in the xylem sap of nakr1-1 and Col-0 plants.
(B) K+ content (ppb) in the xylem sap of nakr1-1 and Col-0 plants. Na+ and K+ concentrations were determined by ICP-MS analysis of xylem sap collected as inflorescence stem exudates from plants grown under the same conditions. Each value was represented as mean ± se; n = 7 to 12 plants.
