(B) The weak and strong auto-active Rx variants Rx-CC-NB-HA and Rx(D460V), respectively, were transiently coexpressed in N. benthamiana (at OD600 = 0.3 and 0.1, respectively) with the indicated Rg2 constructs or GUS in circular areas. Chlorophyll was removed to visualize the HR, which appears as a dark spot. The subcellular localization of Rx is indicated below the pictures.
