Quantification of viral genomic RNA as well as mRNA for chemokines/cytokines and markers of immune cells by qRT-PCR at the site of immunization. BALB/c mice were infected i.m. with rRABVs at 1 × 105 FFU per mouse, and muscle tissues were harvested from the site of immunization at 3 and 6 dpi.
