Transfection with OGT siRNA prevents ET-1-induced increased expression of P-MYPT-1 (Thr⁸⁵³), P-CPI-17 (Thr³⁸), and P-MLC (Thr¹⁸/Ser¹⁹). The transfection with OGT siRNA, for 2 days, did not change expression of (A) ROCK-α, ROCK-β, total MYPT-1, MLC, or CPI-17. The effects of ET-1 on (B) P-CPI-17, (C) P-MLC, and (D) P-MYPT-1 expression were not observed when VSMCs were previously transfected with OGT siRNA.
