After fitting the stiffness distributions for each case with Eq. 5 (solid line), the average stiffness for a 100-nm-diameter vesicle was calculated. Influenza liposomes at 13°C and 26°C were on average, respectively, 40% and 10% stiffer, than at 37°C.
