In vitro tuber-sprouting assay using different concentrations of BAP. Two weeks after storage, tuber discs were isolated and incubated for 5 min with 5, 25, 50, or 100 μm BAP and water as a control. Tuber discs were kept in darkness under tissue culture conditions and scored daily for visible sprouting.
