Apigenin reduces cell viability of leukemia cells. (a) Molecular structure of apigenin. (b) Leukemia cells and human peripheral blood lymphocytes were treated with apigenin for 24 h. Cell viability was measured by MTT assay and cell viability of nontreated cells was considered as 100%. (c) Number of HL60 viable cells during different times of treatment with apigenin. After HL60 cells treatment with apigenin for 5, 12, and 24 h, the number of viable cells was quantified using Trypan blue. (d) Number of TF1 viable cells during different times of treatment with apigenin. TF1 cells were treated with apigenin for 18, 24, and 36 h and using the Trypan blue the cell viable was quantified
