Table 1.

Response Time and Accuracy to the Primes in Experiments 1 and 2A

Experiment 1
Experiment 2A
RT (ms)
Accuracy (% correct)
RT (ms)
Accuracy (% correct)
Condition Global Local Global Local Global Local Global Local
LSF 671 746 85 94 764 849 86 94
HSF 694 746 84 95 767 848 84 96

Note. RT = response time; LSF = low spatial frequency; HSF = high spatial frequency. In Experiment 2, the marginal Prime Level × SF interaction (p = .051) found for the prime accuracies showed the same pattern as the prime RTs. Importantly, this is the same pattern as the Prime Level × SF interaction found for the probe RTs. Although the Prime Level × SF interaction was not statistically significant for prime RTs or for prime accuracy in Experiment 1, inspection of the means showed a similar pattern.
