Males were larger (light bars: mean shell diameter = 131.9±2.6 mm, apertural shell width = 67.9±5.2 mm, N = 870) than females (dark bars: mean shell diameter = 118.9±7.5 mm, apertural shell width = 61.5±4.7 mm, n = 86). Maturation occurred at sizes varying±11% of the mean maximum shell diameter.
