Supplementary Fig. 6

Mitotic angles are unchanged after PTPγ perturbation. Spinal cords were electroporated at HH11 with expression vectors and fixed at HH22 before sectioning and staining with DAPI (A; put AB in figure). Angles of anaphase nuclei were measured (B) with respect to the inner face of the ventricles; 0° represents horizontal cleavages (example 1), 90° represents orthogonal cleavages (example 2). C, graph of angles, binned into 15° groups. Light bars are embryos expressing control shRNA, dark bars expressing shPTPγ Si3. D, graph of angles in embryos expressing negative control vector (light bars) or wtPTPγ expression vector (light bars). At least 100 nuclei were measured from a minimum of 5 different embryos in each data set. No significant differences were observed between controls and experimental samples.
