Representative genes were selected for co-localization with the NPC markers Vim (A–D) and Blbp (E–G). Micrographs show the region of the OB including and immediately surrounding the germinal zone. Dek (A, E), Hmgb2 (B, F), Tmpo (C, G) and Cdk2 (D) co-localize with Vim and/or Blbp, indicating that they are expressed in the population of OB NPCs. Bar = 200 µm.
