(D, E) Similar plots were generated for genes with binding sites for E2F4 (Conboy et al., 2007) and E2F1/E2F4/E2F6 (Xu et al., 2007) as detected by chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP). Note the enrichment of genes with E2F family binding sites in the NPC clusters using both informatics predictions (A–C) and direct ChIP analyses (D, E).
