Each point represents mean avoidance percent + SEM relative to the last (10th) training day. The avoidance data from the vehicle group were plotted in both figures for easy comparison. Olanzapine (0.5 and 1.0 mg/kg, s.c., −60 min) and risperidone (0.33 and 1.0 mg/kg, s.c., −60 min) dose-dependently disrupted avoidance response to both CS1 and CS2, and the disruption was progressively enhanced with repeated drug administration across the 5 daily test sessions. Olanzapine and risperidone had a stronger disruptive effect on CS2 avoidance than CS1 avoidance. “*” indicates a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the antipsychotic group and the vehicle group.
