Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) staining was reduced in the striatum of Gdnf +/− mice with or without lipopolysaccharide (LPS) treatment. TH immunostaining in the striatum of all groups demonstrates that there was a reduction in density in the 12‐month‐old Gdnf +/− mice, regardless of treatment.
