The kinetic parameters of Atg4 enzymes against full-length Atg8s-GST

The Vmax (mol liter−1 s−1) and Km (mol/liter) for each enzyme-substrate pair was derived from the curve fitting (Figs. 24, and 6) using the non-linear regression method (SigmaPlot 10.0). kcat (catalytic constant, s−1) was derived by dividing Vmax by the concentration of the enzyme in each reaction.
