An overview of instantaneous frequencies of cardiac (upper) and respiratory (lower) signals for subject 4 (RE, EX and AE). Notice the obvious increase in cardiac and respiratory instantaneous frequencies. Also note the visible reduction in variability of the cardiac signal, and the increase in variability of the respiratory signal.
