Clinical evaluations of 12-lead ECG/image M-diagnoses. With the help of developed mobile information system, the efficiency of medical diagnostic and treatment flows in emergency telemedicine can be greatly improved. According to the findings of 25 emergency case studies of patients with heart diseases at Taoyuan Armed Forces General Hospital in Taiwan, the use of mobile information system can first minimize the traveling time of the remote cardiologist unless on-site treatment by the remote cardiologist is necessary. This system can also reduce an average of 5–8 min for the remote cardiologist to request and receive medical data and another 5–10 min of treatment preparation time before the remote cardiologist has to return to the hospital to perform on-site treatment.
