Saline or GAG (100 or 200 mg/kg i.p.) was administered 180 min before testing the height of aerial righting. Saline or ethanol (2.25 g/kg i.p.) was administered 60 min before the test. Immediately after the test, rats were sacrificed, brain tissue and trunk blood were collected and analyzed for GABA and ethanol, respectively, as described under “Materials and Methods.” Values represent the mean ± S.E.M. of the number of observations indicated by “N.”
