Fluorescence spectra of P61A/Y38W (A), P61A/Y69W (B), and P61A/Y95W (C) FIS were collected at 20°C under native and denaturing conditions. Emission spectra for all mutants were collected using an excitation wavelength of 295 nm in 10 mM PB at pH 7.4 with 0.1M NaCl for native conditions and 10 mM PB, 8M GuHCl at pH 7.4 with 0.1M NaCl for denaturing conditions. The concentration of the mutant proteins was 36 μM.
