PKCε overexpression confers resistance to apoptosis after castration. Eight-week old mice were castrated as described in Experimental Procedures. Prostate lobes were collected 7 or 14 days later. Apoptosis was detected by IHC using an antibody specific for activated caspase-3. Data are expressed as mean ± SD. Similar results were observed in 2 independent experiments.
