C57BL/6 mice were hydrodynamic injected with pcDNA-IL6 plasmid or mock control plasmid at day 0. At day 2, mice were further injected i.p. with 100 µg 2A antibody or or control antibody (RIg).The mice were sacrificed at day 12, and serum ALT levels (A), liver weight (B) and the number of intrahepatic leukocytes (C) were measured. (D) At day12, the livers were fixed and stained with H&E. Representative images from 3–4 mice in each group were shown. Three experiments were performed with similar results. *P<0.05, **P<0.01, ***P<0.001 in comparison with groups as indicated.
