Purified B cells were infected as for Figure 7. Infected B cells received uninfected T cells, prestimulated or unstimulated by PHA, or were treated with CsA or Val as in Figure 1 at the indicated days of coculture. Cells were further cultured for 5 days, and IUs in the culture supernatants were determined and plotted as before. The dotted line indicates detection limit.
